10 days to OpenStack Summit Boston!

Organizations of all sizes from all corners of the globe are adopting OpenStack since it debut in 2010.  In less than 10 days, the next OpenStack Summit will be held in Boston.

Every 6 months, the OpenStack Foundation launches the OpenStack User Survey. The latest 9th OpenStack user survey shows 44% more deployment than one year ago.

I got a preview into the OpenStack deployments while serving as track chair.  What impressed me most was the variety of industries represented. We received talk submissions from Banking/Financial Services, Retail, Healthcare, Industrial IOT/Smart City, Bioinformatics/Medical Research, Telecommunications, Transportation and Government Institutions (US, UK, China).

Check out the accepted talks in the Case Studies track : https://www.openstack.org/summit/boston-2017/summit-schedule/global-search?t=case+studies

The OpenStack operators have spoken. Also on the user survey, we’re pleased to see renewed support for MidoNet, making us one of the more popular 3rd party network drivers for OpenStack.
